Q: How do I book a session?
A: You can book your session online by Booking A Consultation.
A Signed Contract Agreement and Non-Refundable Retainer are required to Secure Your Date.Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: We recommend booking at least (1) to (3) months in advance to ensure your content is captured and/or edited prior to Your need it By Date. -
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards, ACH transfers, and select payment apps. Payment is processed securely through our booking system.Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes, a non-refundable retainer is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due by the day of your session.Q: Are payment plans available?
A: Payment plans are not offered at this time. -
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Retainers are non-refundable. Sessions may be rescheduled (once) with at least (3) weeks notice of the cancellation (to make that date available to other clients), and the new shoot date must be booked within (90) days of the original shoot date.
If the (21) day notice has not been provided, an additional deposit will be required to schedule your shoot.Q: What happens if I’m late?
A: Late arrivals may reduce your session time. If you're more than 20 minutes late, the session may be canceled at the photographer's discretion.

Q: When will I receive my photos or videos?
A: Final edited content is delivered within (14-21) business days, depending on the session type.
*Rush delivery may be available, but additional fees will apply.Q: How many images or clips do I get?
A: Deliverables vary by session. Your package will detail the number of final images, clips, or edited assets included. **Prints and Products Sold Separately.Q: Do I get to choose the photos?
A: We provide a proof gallery or pre-selection process for most sessions. Final edits are based on your selections and our professional discretion. -
Q: Can I use the photos for my business?
A: Yes! Content Sessions and Memberships includes a standard usage license for personal brand promotion, including use on social media, personal websites, online portfolios, newsletters, and other non-commercial marketing platforms.If the Client intends to use any images for paid advertising campaigns, printed marketing materials, product packaging, resale (e.g. merchandise, book covers), or in contexts involving third-party companies or endorsements, a Commercial Use License must be purchased separately.
Unauthorized Commercial Use of Images without the appropriate license constitutes a Breach of Contract and may result in legal action, additional licensing fees, or a Cease-and-Desist.
Q: Can I edit or add filters to my images?
A: No! Clients shall not make any adjustments to the images themselves nor have a third party make adjustments, including but not limited to, changing colors/tones, adding textures and/or changing the image from color to black and white. -
Q: Is hair and makeup included?
A: Hair and makeup services are available as an add-on with our trusted studio-preferred artists.
If you choose to bring your own team, the studio is not responsible for the quality of their work.Q: What if I bring my own hair and makeup artist?
A: You're welcome to bring your own team, but please note: any excessive retouching due to styling issues (e.g., flyaways, uneven makeup) may incur additional editing fees. -
Q: What kind of retouching is included?
A: Standard edits include color correction and light skin retouching. We do not offer extensive retouching (e.g., body modification, heavy alterations).Q: Can I request extra edits?
A: Yes — advanced retouching is available at an additional rate. Please request this in advance so we can provide a quote. -
Q: Where are you located?
A: Our studio is based in Leawood, Kansas, but our location is only disclosed to Clients prior to Content Session.
We also shoot on-location — travel fees may apply.Q: Can I bring someone with me to the shoot?
A: You’re welcome to bring (one) guest for support, but if they interfere with the session they will be asked to leave. -
Q: Will I be able to use the images on social media?
A: Absolutely. Your license covers promotional use. Proper credit is always appreciated but not required unless the shoot is collaborative or editorial.Q: Can I get raw files?
A: We do not provide RAW or unedited files. All delivered content reflects the studio’s professional quality standards.

A: These sessions are tailored to you or your business and include portraiture, behind-the-scenes content, and promotional imagery. Packages vary by session length, image count, and usage rights.Q: Can I use these photos for my business or social media?
A: Yes! A standard license for online promotion, personal branding, and social media is included. For commercial advertising or resale, an upgraded license is required.Q: Can I bring outfit changes?

A: Each session is customized. Collaborations must be agreed upon in writing. Otherwise, standard rates apply.Q: Can I use these images for competitions or publication?
A: Yes, but please notify us before submission. Some publications require exclusivity, and usage rights must be honored.Q: Are the images confidential before release?
A: No. These sessions are not confidential unless agreed in advance. The studio reserves the right to publish images for portfolio and promotional use.Q: Who provides styling, hair, and makeup?
A: You may bring your own team or book through our studio. For editorial submissions, team coordination and release forms are required. -
Q: Can I ship my products to your studio?
A: Yes. Products may be shipped or dropped off at the studio. You are responsible for shipping costs both ways.Q: What happens if my product is damaged during shipping?
A: The studio is not liable for lost or damaged items during transit. We recommend insured shipping.Q: What type of images are included?
A: Still life, flat lays, and styled setups are included. Lifestyle/product-in-use shots with models are available for an additional fee.Q: Do I get to keep the props or backgrounds?
A: Props used for styling remain the property of the studio unless agreed otherwise.Q: Can I use the photos for my website and advertising?
A: Yes. A standard commercial license is included for digital and print promotional use. For large-scale advertising or resale, an extended license may be required. -
Q: What is a content capture session?
A: These sessions are designed for quick-turn content creation — short-form video, social media clips, and branded images for ongoing digital use.Q: Do I need to prepare a shot list?
A: Yes. Please submit your creative direction or shot list at least (2) to (3) weeks before the session. Otherwise, the photographer will shoot based on brand intuition and creative freedom.Q: What types of deliverables will I receive?
A: Typically, a mix of short-form videos and/or high-resolution images optimized for social media platforms. Deliverables are outlined in your package.Q: Can I use this content for ads?
A: You’ll receive usage rights for organic marketing. Paid advertising, licensing to other brands, or use in digital products requires a commercial license upgrade.Q: Can I bring my own videographer or team?
A: You’re welcome to bring approved team members, but they must stay within the shoot schedule, and must not interfere with or delay the content session. Shared studio space may limit crew size. -
Q: What is included in a content editing session?
A: We provide editing and post-production services for photos and/or videos that you supply. This includes color grading, trimming, sequencing, and minor enhancements.Q: Do I need to have professional footage?
A: Not necessarily — we work with DSLR, phone content, and even user-generated footage. Quality impacts final output, so we recommend the best files available.Q: Can you edit content that someone else created?
A: Yes, but you must confirm you have the rights to the material. We are not responsible for copyright infringement related to third-party content.Q: Who owns the final edits?
A: You retain ownership of your original content. We retain rights only to content we originally captured, and may use our own footage in our portfolio.Q: How are files delivered?
A: Edited files are delivered via a secure download link. We store completed projects for (60) days. -
Q: What is a content membership?
A: It’s a recurring photography/filmmaking/content package designed for brands who need monthly, quarterly, biannual, or annual content on a consistent basis.Q: How does billing work?
A: You choose a monthly, quarterly, biannual, or annual plan. Payments are auto-billed according to your plan. Memberships auto-renew unless canceled with proper notice.Q: What’s included in each membership?
A: Each membership includes a set number of sessions or deliverables per cycle, priority scheduling, and special rates on additional services. Packages are customized per client.Q: What if I miss a session or cancel mid-term?
A: Missed sessions do not roll over unless otherwise agreed. Canceling forfeits your reserved spot and re-entry is not guaranteed. Notice must be given (30) days before the next billing cycle.Q: Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
A: Yes — plan changes must be requested before the next billing cycle begins.
